Using information from a professional facilities assessment, completed by architects, engineers, and construction professionals, along with input from Bloomingdale students, staff, and community members, these bond proposals were developed to achieve the following goals:

Ensure Comfortable Learning Spaces
Be Financially Responsible

BPS is Focused on Keeping Students


Proposal 1: $17 Million - No Tax Increase

  • Update Student Learning Environments at Each School

    • Update mechanical and electrical systems, including boiler replacements

    • Partial replacement of windows and exterior doors

    • Partial roof replacements 

    • ADA-necessary improvements to select toilet rooms 

    • Small district-wide technology, furniture, and finish upgrades

  • Add 1-2 Busses

  • Improved Site Circulation and Repaved Lots 

  • Create a Safe + Secure Entry Experience

    • Office remodels 

    • Entrance canopies

    • Add security camera
